The pair will be the two North American representatives at the $123,000 tournament taking place on November 25-27 in Sweden.
CLG Red and EG Gold have earned their spots at the ESL Impact League Season 2 Finals after dispatching of Please Send Bocks and Valkyries fe, respectively, in the North American online stage.
CLG Red went into Season 2 with a revamped lineup from last season's campaign, where the organization ultimately placed 3-4th, with only Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie and Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click being the holdovers. CLG Red outclassed the competition in the regional online stage, not losing a single map across five series in the group stage and only conceding six rounds in the deciding match against Please Send Bocks.

EG Gold, who previously competed under the Sacrifice banner, also went 6-0 in groups before scoring convincing victories against Valkyries fe in a 2-0 sweep. Jessica "jesscas" Ngo, Kiki "PiggyKiki" Long, and Anna "garden" Gutierrez will be making their second appearances at the LAN event having participated at the ESL Impact Season 1 Finals as members of Please Send Help, while Lucy "empathy" Verkaik and Kiara "m1lky" Makua will be competing for the ESL Impact crown for the first time.
Both squads join ATK fe, HSG fe, and tournament favorites Nigma Galaxy in the list of qualified teams for the event. The former two sides made it through the South Africa and Asia open qualifiers, respectively, while defending champions Nigma Galaxy secured their participation at the $123,000 event in Sweden after defeating BIG EQUIPA 2-0 in the Europe online stage.
The last three spots at the ESL Impact Final will be filled today through two matches in South America and one in Europe to complete the list of eight teams competing.
